What Karrow is (and isn’t)

The idea, plainly: your newsletter, turned into posts in your voice.

What does Karrow do?

Karrow turns each newsletter issue into social posts written in your publication’s own voice. You review and edit them, then schedule or publish them to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, and Reddit, all from one place.

Your newsletter is where your best thinking already lives. Karrow helps that thinking reach the people who follow you on social, without you rewriting it five times.

A quick example. Say you send a weekly finance newsletter every Tuesday. On Wednesday you open Karrow, pick that issue, and choose X and LinkedIn. Karrow drafts three options for each channel, written the way your newsletter reads. You keep the two you like, tighten one line, and drag them onto Thursday and Friday. That’s the whole loop.

How it works

  1. 1Connect your newsletter (beehiiv or Ghost) with an API key. Karrow imports your 12 most recent issues, then checks for new ones every 15 minutes.
  2. 2Connect the social channels you post to. Each publication has its own set.
  3. 3Pick an issue and the channels you want. Karrow drafts three options per channel by default, and you can ask for anywhere from 1 to 10.
  4. 4Edit, keep, or discard them. You can always write your own with Write by hand.
  5. 5Schedule them, or press Post now. Nothing goes out until you do.

Which newsletter platforms and social channels does Karrow work with?

Karrow reads issues from beehiiv and Ghost, and posts to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, and Reddit. Every channel is included in the price.

Each platform gets a post shaped for it rather than the same text everywhere. On X and Threads a draft can be a single post or a thread, with up to 280 characters per post on X and 500 on Threads. LinkedIn and Facebook get one post each (LinkedIn allows up to 3,000 characters). Reddit gets a title of up to 300 characters and a text body, with no images.

Substack, Kit, Mailchimp, and other newsletter platforms aren’t supported yet, and neither are Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.

Does Karrow post without my approval?

No. A post only goes out when you schedule it or press Post now, and scheduling a post is your approval.

Once a post is scheduled, its text is locked, so what goes out is exactly what you saw. To change it, open the post and choose Cancel scheduled post: it goes back to being a draft you can edit and schedule again. If a platform turns a post down, it’s marked Failed and you can fix it with Edit & reschedule.

How much does Karrow cost?

Karrow is $59 per connected publication per month, or $590 per publication per year if you pay annually, which works out to two months free. Every channel is included, with no per-channel fee.

Connecting your newsletter, drafting, editing, and reviewing are free, with no card and no time limit. You only pay when you want to schedule or publish. So you can see your own issues turned into posts in your own voice before you spend anything.

Pricing grows with publications, not channels. One newsletter posting to all five channels is $59 a month. Three newsletters are $177 a month. If you connect another publication on a paid plan, your subscription goes up by one, and the change is prorated.

AI drafting has a daily limit to stop abuse: 20 drafts a day on the free plan and 200 on Pro. Each option counts as one, so three options on five channels uses 15.

What else is in Karrow

Besides drafting and scheduling, there are a few places you’ll use every week. Posts shows everything you’ve drafted, scheduled, and published as a list, a month, or a week. Analytics shows how your posts did on X, LinkedIn, Threads, and Facebook. Playbooks is a library of post formats doing well on each platform, refreshed every week.

What Karrow isn’t

It isn’t an autopilot. Karrow never posts on its own, and it doesn’t draft by itself either: when a new issue comes out, it can email you so you can start the batch when it suits you.

It isn’t a generic AI writer. It learns from your own newsletter, not from other people’s posts, and each publication keeps its own voice.

It doesn’t create images or videos. AI drafts come with your issue’s lead image attached (except on Reddit), and you can swap it, remove it, or upload your own.

It doesn’t run ads, and it doesn’t promise reach. Formats that work for other accounts are suggestions, not guarantees.

Who it’s for

Newsletter writers who want their ideas on social without a second job, and the people who run several newsletters, for themselves or for clients.

If you run more than one newsletter, connect each as its own publication. Each one keeps its own voice, its own channels, and its own posts, so a finance letter and a travel letter never blur together.

Teams work in a shared workspace. Invite people from Settings → Members, and everyone gets the same access: they can connect, draft, edit, schedule, and invite.
